GRAB-300

About

The GRAB-300 is a M50 crash-rated less-than-lethal Active Vehicle Barrier. Unlike a wedge barrier, that be result in a potentially fatal, high-impact crash, the GRAB-300 utilizes an energy absorbing system that has effectively stopped vehicles at speeds greater than 50 mph. The GRAB is an all-electric operation and utilizes heat trace within the foundation. The GRAB is a two-second operation and can be designed as a high cycle or low cycle operation depending airport and gate requirements.
