Stone Lock® Pro is a sophisticated biometric facial recognition access control device that provides instant, reliable confirmation of identity. Stone Lock® Pro achieves this by projecting near infrared wavelengths and then measuring those wavelengths as they reflect off a user’s facial features. A subject, once detected, is scanned at over 2000 points, and in less than a second, Stone Lock® confirms or denies a match within it’s database. Stone Lock® technology is proven to distinguish between identical twins; it can even distinguish between multiple expressions on an individual user’s face. All of this happens independent of photo matching ensuring the correct person is gaining access.
Stone Lock® Pro is an HID® embedded solutions partner containing the iClass® SE reader allowing for multi-factor authentication. Authentication occurs within 1 second making it an extremely fast and accurate (FAR <1/250,000) biometric infrared facial recognition device suited for a wide variety of critical access control areas within an airport environment which include; employee entrances, data/control centers, sterile area access, etc.
