The WAVE Plus instant notification system is the fastest way to call for help in an emergency. Wireless buttons can be placed around the airport so that personnel can press them in an emergency. As soon as a button is pressed, a detailed message including the location of the incident is broadcast over the radios carried by security and law enforcement officers. Emails and text messages can also be sent to other personnel. In addition, other sensors and systems can be integrated into the WAVE Plus system to notify officers of unauthorized access or other security issues as soon as they occur. The use of a radio is a uniquely effective way of communicating with officers during an emergency.
